Later with the Mephisto blog...
Mephisto sure was a pain to maintain. It got to a point where I couldn't even post a message any longer and it was quite possible that you'd get an error if you ever clicked a link that wasn't on the home page.
So here we go.
Starting fresh. Like opening up 'vi .plan' in my home directory, entering :1,$d^M then :wq^M. It's all gone. POOF!
Where to go from here... Beats me. We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

Can you detail the steps you used to get the Juniper VPN Client installed and working on Linux Mint? I have only been able to access work VPN though Windows on a Windows machine and would really like to be able to get in via my Mint laptop. Not sure if it makes a difference but we have a SecureID token I have to use to key in a code to login. I was running Ubuntu and switched to Mint recently. I would consider myself new to Linux but able to follow relatively simple instructions.

Your best bet is to look at this:
http://makefile.com/.plan/2009/10/27/juniper-vpn-64-bit-linux-an-unsolved-mystery
That details step by step how I managed to get it working on Mint 7. I have not tried on Mint 8. I actually gave up and went back to Windows 7 for now with Ubuntu server in a VM. I really wish X would get replaced by something ... better.
